The Trans Canada Highway #1 runs from St John's in Newfoundland
and Labrador at the eastcoast to Vancouver Island in British Columbia
at the westcoast. A distance of nearly 5000 miles or 8000 kilometers. |
Rainbow Bridge
The Rainbow Bridge on the border between Canada and USA. There
is always a mist in the air. In wintertime the mist sticks to
everything nearby, and creates a thick layer of ice formations. |

Horseshoe Fall
The Horseshoe Fall or the Canadian Fall is approx. 52 meters high.
The crestline is 675 meters wide. 150 million liters of water
tumble over the crestline evry minute.

The Weeping Wall
Waterfalls plunge over the cliffs that are 180 meters high. In the
winter, ice climbers climb the frozen cascades. |
